We travel and operate our tours in the traditional territories of the Mamalilikulla, Kwikwasut'inuxw Haxwa'mis, Da'naxda'xw Awaetlala, Tlowitsis and 'Namgis First Nations. Our lodge is located in Mamalilikulla First Nation territory. We embrace the spirit of reconciliation and The United Nations Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Our four days at the Farewell Harbour Lodge were definitely among the highlights of our three-week vacation in western Canada. Everything was incredibly well organized. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was clear to see that everyone loved it there. The food was delicious—even the little lunchboxes given to us for the outings. And speaking of the outings, it was clear to see they know their area. We also loved the respect they showed for the wildlife there, that we were guests in their territory. We loved every moment we spent being part of the Farewell Harbour Family. With a month spent in B.C., our time at Farewell Harbour Lodge was the pinnacle of our trip to Canada, having an eco-tourism focus. My partner and I felt like part of their family from the time we met until our departure from the lodge on Berry Island. Our room had the most enchanting views of Blackfish Sound and the adjacent islands. The main lodge was well set up for meals, spending time with other guests, relaxing after the day's events, and joining the evening talks. Everything was catered for to make our stay truly 5-star. The meal service was absolutely top-notch and worthy of note not only for dinners but also for the breakfast selection and lunch packs that were brought into the field. A truly exceptional place. A combination of location, facilities and wonderful staff made our stay unforgettable. Attention to detail and the welcome is superb, and the opportunities to observe wildlife including but not limited to grizzly and black bears, humpback whales and Orcas, and dolphins seals and sea lions, take your breath away. Tim, Kelli and company were exemplary hosts. The lodge is stunning, rooms gorgeous, views just spellbinding, food amazing and we saw bears, whales and so much more! This is a special place and we highly recommend it. The guides were thoughtful, kind, informative and genuinely excited to share their knowledge. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, but also learned about the region and all it has to offer.
